Frog Mag curates works concealed in facebook groups, knitting circles, social media stories etc. and platforms them through thoughtful and experimental design. Founded in Brooklyn in 2024, Frog Mag has a unique grassroots community built organically through weekly meetings and workshops. Our mission is to both expand and platform this community via a physical magazine which explores the impact of textile and fibers on art and literature and vice versa. We seek strong voices that actively compliment the uniqueness of experimental textile work, textural, bold, and interlaced. This manifests through original and found fiction, nonfiction, and poetry paralleled with striking visual work. Each issue investigates textiles through a--sometimes unassuming--thematic lense.
