The Haight Ashbury Literary Journal publishes well-written poetry and fiction. We publish diverse writers, both new and established. We often have poems about people who have experienced poverty, homelessness, or have been oppressed and marginalized.

Submissions Policy
We will read up to 6 poems per writer per issue (every 6 months.) We prefer poems under three pages long. Please put a name and address on each page of poetry and the first page of a story. We will read up to 3 five page stories and one about 20 pages story. We require submission by regular mail with a SASE unless one is from outside the United States. Then we will accept submissions by e-mail.
