Holy Cow! Press was founded in 1977 by editor & publisher Jim Perlman. Our primary focus is on publishing books of poetry, short fiction, novels, memoirs, and anthologies centered around a specific theme. Many of the authors we've published reside in the American mid west, with some notable exceptions. We are one of few publishers who publish writings by Native authors on a regular basis.
