Mission Statement / Editorial Focus
Homodoxy publishes works of gay/queer theology and literature to preserve, produce, and proliferate queer religious life and thought. Homodoxy's books build a home for new and beautiful considerations of spirituality, sexuality, gender, and genre. Our Books Reprinted in Contemporary Context series (BRICC) makes older and out-of-print texts available to new readers. We seek to publish new writing in all genres by people of diverse religious and spiritual backgrounds. Queer spirituality is a revival and a circus, and Homodoxy pitches a big tent.

Do You Have Any Cover Letter Advice?
I don't mind some rough edges. Leave the perfectly shined marketing prose to marketers.
What Do You Look For In A Submission?
As the press begins, I am looking for texts that will help establish its breadth and style. I look for work that doesn't tell me what it wants to do but just does it. And I welcome writers who look forward to hands-on developmental editing.
What Advice Do You Have For First-time Submitters?
Please read the page on the Spirit of the press, and if the vision resonates with you, please do submit using the online form. I look forward to reading your submission.
Who Is Your Ideal Reader?
Queer people (and friends) who want to be a part of something that feels both new and old, who like to hold writing in their hands, and who read to be pulled into another's vision.
