Mission Statement / Editorial Focus
Since 1976, Limberlost Press primarily has published letterpress-printed chapbooks of poetry by nationally known and emerging poets, including works by Allen Ginsberg, Lawrence Ferlinghetti, Judith Root, Jim Harrison, Gary Snyder, Margaret Aho, Hayden Carruth, John Clellon Holmes, Nancy Takacs, Kim Stafford, Sherman Alexie, Ed Sanders, Carole Coda, and scores of other writers. In addition, over five decades, Limberlost has published several novels, memoirs, and collections of short stories. In 2019, we revived THE LIMBERLOST REVIEW: A LITERARY JOURNAL OF THE MOUNTAIN WEST as a 400-500 page literary annual print magazine featuring essays, fiction, poetry, artwork, interviews, "re-readings" of beloved books, memoirs, and more by writers from across the nation.
