Mission Statement / Editorial Focus
Logic is a print magazine devoted to deepening the discourse around technology, founded by a team of writers, engineers, and designers. Logic wants to demystify technology, and break down the wall that the tech industry tries to build between itself and the rest of the world. This means critically examining its stories and myths. This also means giving a voice to the rank-and-file tech workers who actually build the technologies, to clarify the inner workings that are often hidden from view. Above all, we want to understand how technology is rewiring our world, for better or worse. We publish three issues per year, each on a particular theme. We publish short and long-form essays, journalism, and non-fiction, as well as interviews and art.
