miniskirt magazine publishes literary work that speaks to the theme of love & romance. We use the term "love" broadly, from romantic & sexual love to familial love & friendship, even love of things: baseball, a trip to Paris, chicken nuggets, or petrichor. As long as the underlying emotion of the writing is love, relationships, connection, we want to read it.

Submissions Policy
Writers may submit fiction, nonfiction, or poetry during our open submissions windows, which generally run from the 10th to the 30th of the month. We do not charge for submissions. For poetry: up to 5 poems/10pp. For prose: 1 piece up to 5k words, or 3 pieces up to 1250 words each. We aim to respond within 3 weeks, though sometimes this stretches into four. We request that writers limit themselves to one submission per window, unless we ask for additional work. We read work from writers ages 16+.
