Mission Statement / Editorial Focus
We publish original (previously unpublished) works of nonfiction, poetry, photography, and art that explore grief and loss. We are a community of people who wish to reflect on grief in a culture that often prefers silence when it comes to grief and loss. We strive, in each issue, to represent a range of voices and bring them to the page in visually gorgeous format. Our journal is free online. Hard copies can be purchased for $20 each. Founded in 2017, we publish a digital magazine quarterly. We periodically update our site to post new writing that is eventually compiled into the quarterly digital magazine.

Submissions Policy
We accept submissions on a rolling basis. We accept nonfiction of up to 2,500 words. We accept one poem at a time from an author. We also accept submissions of art and photography. Submissions should relate to or explore death, loss, mortality, or terminal illness. We are open to broad interpretations of those but are most interested in works specific to human mortality. We accept simultaneous submissions. We simply request that a writer notify us if the work is accepted elsewhere.
