MOONLOVE is an independent literary magazine publishing love-focused poetry by new, emerging and established women writers. Our mission celebrates the work of the everyday muse, awakens the female gaze, and meditates on the way women experience matters of the heart. Inspired by female writers around the world throughout world history, MOONLOVE seeks: poetry on love — in all its phases — by women. Our press publishes a magazine several times, available online and in print. All submission fees are donated to MOMMAS House: a not for profit corporation serving young mothers and their children. Copies of issues are also distributed to the residents at MOMMAS house. By promoting a culture of literacy and self-expression, our tribe aims to to empower this community of loving mothers.
