Open Secrets Magazine is a home for memorable, revealing personal essays about all the subjects we're taught to keep “secret.” We publish essays and memoir excerpts in 11 categories: Relationships, Parenting and Family, Identity, LGBTQIA+, Mental Health, Physical Health, Grief, Finances, Work/Career, Stuff-ed (on our complicated relationship with our belongings), and Climate. We also publish an advice column, a column of essay writing tips, and a radical pleasure column, with a forthcoming column on ADHD. We hope to make readers feel less alone and form community around our common human struggles and experiences.
