Chrysalis Review is the first youth-led literary and arts magazine dedicated exclusively to publishing the creative works of incarcerated writers and artists. It is devoted to enkindling a space for these too-often overlooked voices to glow off the page and reverberate far beyond the walls of confinement. We believe words have wings, so we bring light into confinement, seeking to offer individuals who are incarcerated the dignity of being seen and the wings to imagine something more.
