Mission Statement / Editorial Focus
Our mission at Paraselene is to create and nurture a literary community through publishing bi-annual Poetry issues as well as publishing Book Reviews on a rolling basis. We want to contribute to the ever-expanding body of literature through publishing both new and established writers alike, and we especially encourage writers from marginalized and underrepresented communities to submit, including BIPOC, disabled, genderqueer, and LGBTQIA2S+ writers. Experimentation, non-traditional approaches to poetry, innovative poetic philosophies, and work that departs from Westernized literary canon all catch our eye here at Paraselene.
