Mission Statement / Editorial Focus
Pink Trees Press is a New York-based nonprofit publishing house that focuses on poetry, memoirs, creative non-fiction, and anthologies from diverse, living writers. The press aims to share voices that expand the familiar and cultivate resilience, reflecting the heterogeneity of the country. Founded in 2012 within the NYC downtown arts scene, it initially produced handmade books. Its first mass-marketed book, the Silver Tongued Devil Anthology, was published in 2020 and archived by the New York Public Library and included in the exhibition Indy Indeed: A Half Century of Downtown’s Independent Presses.
