Cover letters do not determine whether an application is accepted or rejected, but they can either make or ruin an editor’s day. So, just be real. It's okay to brag. Do not give us a summary of your story or poem; let the work speak for itself.
What Do You Look For In A Submission?
We prefer darker pieces, especially those with an element of the surreal or speculative, unsettling, thrilling, new perspective, experimental but are open to anything and like to be surprised. We want your writing to resonate with Africa and Africans
