Mission Statement / Editorial Focus
Poetic License Press publishes writing that is authentic, accessible, and engaging. We have a collaborative model and play well with others. To date we've published four poetry anthologies: A Light Breakfast, poems to start your day; A Midnight Snack: poems for late night reading; In Plein Air, poems and drawings of the natural world; Poems from the Wellspring. The first three of these are aesthetically unusual in format, all 4 are well-crafted in layout and design as well as quality and of the poems included. We seek to build a community of mutual support among our published poets who include emerging, mid-career, and well-established writers.

Submissions Policy
For each project, we circulate and publicize a Call for Words with submission guidelines. We accept submissions via email, while making accommodations for writers as needed (i.e., we'll accept submission of hard copies by snail mail). There is no fee for submission. Generally, the sole remuneration for accepted work is one free contributor's copy and a discount on any additional purchases.
