Mission Statement / Editorial Focus
Read Furiously is a family-owned, New Jersey based publisher who believes in the sustainable reading journey. Through our published titles and community efforts, our goal is to cultivate a reading relationship with fellow “Furious Readers,” those that believe that reading can be both a leisure activity and a form of literary activism. We aim to be inclusive in both our authors and the subjects we publish. We focus on creative nonfiction, fiction, graphic novels, and poetry. This focus is also on display in our New Jersey anthologies and our One 'n Done series which features stand alone stories that can be read in one sitting or a weekend. With every title we publish, Read Furiously donates 5% of our net proceeds to various literacy programs and book-related charities, and we also invite our talented creators to do the same. We also work with Little Free Libraries and book donation programs throughout NJ. We understand that reading can be a form of activism and we take this responsibility very seriously.
