Revolú Press is the publishing imprint of Revolú Gallery, created to support visual artists working in language, narrative, and conceptual form. We publish books, chaplets, and hybrid works that foreground visual thinking—where images and text operate together, not in service of one another. Our editorial line draws from the cadence of new journalism, the spatial poetics of installation, and the urgency of lived perspective. La Belicosa is the magazine of Revolú Press—part poetic manifesto, part visual journal, and entirely unruly. We publish work that lives in the tension between image and language, lyric and critique. Each issue is a sumptuous song: visual, written, and spatially composed. Rooted in the lineage of radical aesthetics and experimental publishing, La Belicosa draws on the clarity and edge of new journalism, but moves with the rhythm of a visual poem. We welcome visual essays, conceptual image-text pairings, fragmented narratives, poetic criticism, artist interventions, and voices that refuse linear form. The magazine is not polite, but it is beautiful. It is a site for friction, for lyrical disobedience, for art that dares to speak with its full body.
