S-Curves is an online literary journal featuring work by Topanga Canyon writers. We also sponsor and co-sponsor literary events in the canyon. S-Curves publishes works of short fiction, literary non fiction, poetry, and excerpts from longer works and works-in-progress. Photographers and artists are also welcome to submit work. While preference is giving to writers & artists living and working in Topanga, submissions from Elsewhere are also welcome, subject to space available.

Since almost no one actually knows how to write a good cover letter, just a few lines saying "Hi, here's my submission, thank you for reading" will do.
What Do You Look For In A Submission?
Please don't send anything that's overly pretentious or snooty. We're a lit journal, but work hard to be an accessible one. For tips, visit the "Secret Submission Tips" page on the website.
What Advice Do You Have For First-time Submitters?
Follow submission guidelines EXACTLY. They aren't there just to torture you -- there are reasons for each of them. And if you don't have time to follow the guidelines, then it's not reasonable to expect us to have the time to read your work. :-)
