Showcase is a new online zine focusing on unpacking the why of writer's work. We publish Poetry and Prose along side a personal development bio, a critique or artist statement about the piece, and a 5-point questionnaire pertaining to the work and the writer's craft. We publish monthly, 2 writers in each issue. Showcase intends to publish the best and most interesting work we can find and to connect readers with the writer's perspective. We believe writer's are artists and that their intentions, heart, and intellectual ambition is worth consideration simultaneously with their words.

We have open submissions that run for 3 weeks prior to the launch of an issue. Writers can submit 1 piece for free per month. We accept previously published work. We ask you to not submit simultaneously as we will reply to submitted work very promptly. If you would like to submit multiple pieces beyond the 1 free allotment, we have a category for multiple submissions that charges a reading fee. If accepted, we get in touch and have a very fast turn around time from acceptance to publication, inclusive of the author statement/self-critique and the questionnaire. We will generally clear our submissions inbox each month after the issue is published. We cannot accept changes once a piece has been submitted. We read with an eclectic eye and work is read blind.
