Mission Statement / Editorial Focus
Recently relocated from Los Angeles to the Hudson River Valley in New York, Siglio is an independent press dedicated to publishing uncommon books that live at the intersection of art and literature. Siglio books are cross-disciplinary, hybrid works that defy categorization. They are authored by renowned as well as little known artists and writers who obey no boundaries, pay no fealty to trends and invite readers to see the world anew by reading word and image in provocative, unfamiliar ways. We believe challenging work can be immensely appealing: our books are as much a pleasure touch and hold as they are to read.

Submissions Policy
From June 15 – August 31, we welcome electronic queries only for book-length literary-visual hybrids of various kinds. To learn more about our editorial interests, explore our website, check out our books, and read our guidelines carefully. Queries submitted outside of our summer reading period or that do not follow our guidelines will not be considered. Queries should be sent only to queries (at) sigliopress (dot) com. Queries sent to another email address or that are received through the post will neither be read nor returned. We have a minute staff to handle a large volume of queries, so we are unable to confirm the receipt of your query or to report on its status. We will contact you within four-six months only if we are interested in soliciting a full submission to consider for publication. We truly appreciate your interest in Siglio and look forward to reading your query.
