South 85 Journal is a semi-annual online literary journal run by the Converse College Low-Residency MFA Program. We publish fiction, non-fiction, poetry, book reviews and blog posts by new, emerging, and well-established writers. While we consider all quality work that follow the submission guidelines, we are especially interested in pieces that demonstrate a strong voice and/or a sense of place. So, write like mad, and if it’s good, we want to see it.
