Mission Statement / Editorial Focus
SWWIM (Supporting Women Writers in Miami) publishes, promotes, & celebrates women-identifying writers with a year-round reading series held at The Betsy-South Beach in Miami Beach, FL, and the online poetry journal SWWIM Every Day. For SWWIM Every Day, we look for poems in various forms and styles that embrace the diversity of the female experience, in all the ways it is experienced and lived, and especially seek marginalized and under-represented voices in race, ethnicity, age, neurodiversity, disability, and gender expression.

Submissions Policy
SWWIM Every Day publishes poems by women-identifying writers. Women of all ages, races, ethnicities, cultures, orientations, and expressions are encouraged to submit poems on a variety of themes and subjects in a variety of poetic forms. The only criterion is outstanding work that makes the editors’ heads swwim.
SWWIM Every Day reads and publishes year-round, though response times will be slower in the summer. SWWIM Every Day is a non-paying market. We promote posts on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, and we nominate poems for the Best of the Net, Best New Poets, Pushcart Prize, and other award anthologies where appropriate. Simultaneous submissions are welcome.
