The Brooklyn Review is a literary magazine from the Brooklyn College MFA in Creative Writing program, founded by Allen Ginsberg and John Ashbery. We have published works by Paul Beatty, Eileen Myles, Helen Phillips, Wayne Koestenbaum, Mac Wellman, Young Jean Lee, Lisa Ko, Ann Lauterbach, and Tommy Pico. Stories appearing in our pages have won awards including the PEN / Robert J. Dau Short Story Prize, and our published poetry has been anthologized in the Best American Poetry. We publish a print issue in the spring and digital content throughout the academic year.
