Mission Statement / Editorial Focus
The Journal of Experimental Fiction, or JEF, was founded to draw attention to incredible works of innovative fiction writing. JEF has been proud to introduce the reading public to many fresh, original voices in the world of literature, and it continues its ongoing quest to find and introduce such material. JEF publishes a general fiction issue bi-annually, as well as new novels that would most likely find themselves locked out by larger presses who have no time for nor interest in innovation anymore.
