Mission Statement / Editorial Focus
The Redwood Review is a tri-annual international literary-arts journal publishing language and art that interrogates the anatomy of customary cogitations on class strata, racialized bodies, anthropogenic destruction, and queer identities. Ongoing features with Poets & Writers and partner with Asian American Arts Alliance, The Redwood Review continues to platform artists historically excluded. We especially value and encourage Black & Afro/Indigenous + any Racialized, Queer Artists who are living on the margins to submit to our journal. Dissecting the exigence which propels our motive to create, we share convicting, relevant stories crafted from earth’s brilliant minds.
