Timeworn is a biannual literary journal based in Buffalo, NY with a focus on historical fiction with a splash of the speculative. Overall, we view historical fiction as an undervalued genre which is often overlooked for its wide margins spanning all time, all eras. There are so many vivid settings to be explored, rich characters and intense research outside of the mainstream. We work to find obscure writers working on the fringes of this genre and present their stories in a beautiful hand-bound issue you can hold.
