Mission Statement / Editorial Focus
Unleash Press champions new and innovative voices in fiction, nonfiction, and poetry. Dedicated to partnering with our authors and treating each book as a work of art, we publish a limited number of single-author manuscripts each year. Our primary objective is to deliver the best possible experience to our authors and readers alike in order to build a sustainable and quality press that will act as a catalyst for emerging writers.

How Did You Arrive At Your Current Position?
Unleash Press is a new press that champions new and innovative stories. I founded this press with the intention of truly partnering with authors to provide the best possible small press experience.
Do You Have Any Cover Letter Advice?
Introduce yourself, not your writing. We will only read cover letters if we are interested in the writing itself.
How Are Submissions Processed In Your Magazine/press?
We read submissions blind (with the exception of queries). After our volunteer readers pass along the manuscript to the editors, we make final selections.
What Do You Look For In A Submission?
Brave, bold writing devoid of dogma. New voices. Powerful short-form fiction.
Who Is Your Ideal Reader?
Our ideal readers are interested in beautiful writing and stories that reflect experiences/perspectives that vary from their own direct experience while also tapping into the commonalities of our human condition. Big-picture thinkers, artists.
