Mission Statement / Editorial Focus
'Vũv' is derived from the Ancient Greek word for 'new' or 'at present time ', and that is the driving mission statement of the magazine. Started by two students from a top university in art history, Filipa Lazarova and Ian Ziegler founded VŨV to be something new. They want VŨV to be a place where students and emerging artists, writers, and art historians can feel free to express their creativity, love of art, love of literature, and a love of the aspects of life that make humanity human. The magazine plans to release its first edition by the end of the year and is looking for student and emerging artists to submit their work for publication, both online and in print.
