Mission Statement / Editorial Focus
As Wake Tech’s only student literary and artistic publication, our mission is to provide a creative outlet for the students, faculty, and staff of Wake Technical Community College. At the Wake Review, we believe Wake Tech should always have a place for its creative voice. We accept content in the following categories: fiction, non-fiction, poetry, photography, and multimedia art. Short stories, essays, poems, screenplays, pictures, sketches, paintings, computer design images, videos, music–you name it, we accept it! There are cash prizes for the winning submissions in each category. If you would like to submit your own work for consideration, see our Submission Rules page for more information. If you don’t feel like submitting your work but still want to play a role in the creation of the magazine, feel free to join us at our meetings! For our meeting schedule, check the Announcements and Events page. If you’re interested in seeing more of our content, digital copies of our magazine can be found in the archives and the Magazine page. Physical copies of our chapbooks can be found scattered around South, West, and North Campus. If you want a physical copy but are unable to find one, please contact one of our faculty advisors.
