Mission Statement / Editorial Focus
The Writer’s Foundry Review is a literary journal curated by the MFA students of The Writer’s Foundry at St. Joseph’s College in Brooklyn. We previously published two issues under the name, The Canopy Review, and re-branded last year in order to more closely align with our sponsor MFA program. We publish literary fiction, memoir/personal essays, poetry and visual art with an emphasis on work that speaks honestly to lived experiences.
