New York, NY (July 22, 2026)—In collaboration with the Amazon Literary Partnership, the Community of Literary Magazines and Presses (CLMP) is thrilled to announce the 2026 grant recipients of the Literary Magazine Fund. Originally launched with CLMP in 2019, the Literary Magazine Fund furthers the Amazon Literary Partnership’s role as a supporter of literary organizations nationwide and helps to build the readership of literary magazines.
CLMP convened a grant-making panel composed of authors Alejandro Heredia, Douglas Kearney, and Michelle Tea. Final award decisions were made by the Amazon Literary Partnership in collaboration with CLMP.
Each year, the Literary Magazine Fund strives to provide ongoing support to literary magazines that have a demonstrated history of excellence, while also awarding grants to exciting, new initiatives. This year, 30% of the applicant pool received grants. Of those, 50% were new grantees compared to last year, and 25% received grants for the first time.
