The mission of St. Petersburg Review and Springhouse Journal is to publish quality work from established and emerging writers and artists with a special emphasis on translations and fostering a global literary community that, among other things, provides a forum for freedom of artistic expression especially for those writing and/or living in global conflict areas.

St. Petersburg Review: Unsolicited submissions of fiction, poetry, essays, and one-act plays will be accepted September 1 through December 15 of each year beginning in September 2017. Springhouse Journal: Unsolicited submissions of fiction, poetry, essays, and one-act plays will be accepted in January and July beginning in 2019. Magazines retain first print or electronic rights with residual rights reverting to the author or translator. (See website for details)
