The Merrimack Review is a student-run literary and art magazine that publishes biannually. We accept submissions from undergraduate and graduate students, regardless of academic institution or program of study, with the purpose of giving new and emerging writers/artists a space of their own.
Is your group affiliated with a University, portal or other agency?
Open to undergraduate and graduate students nationwide, to give new and emerging writers/artists a space of their own.
We only accept submissions from current undergraduate (associate/bachelor's) or graduate (master's/PhD) students. Submissions should display a strong understanding of craft and cause readers to react, both emotionally and intellectually. They should be previously unpublished, meaning work that has not already appeared in another magazine, on another website, in a book, etc. All submissions must come through our online submission manager. Check our website for more specific details.
All rights revert to the author after publication.
