  • Mission Statement / Editorial Focus
Our goal is to help people of different faiths, even non-traditional ones, learn about each other to encourage tolerance and peace. Tiferet is a Hebrew word that means "heart, compassion, and reconciliation of opposites" -- vital concepts to understand in today's often divisive world. We are a non-sectarian, non-dogmatic community that publishes high-quality poetry, prose, and art that further meaningful dialogue about what it is to be humane and conscious. We publish a magazine four times a year (3 digital issues and 1 print) and offer periodic writing retreats, an annual poem-a-thon, and an annual writing contest.

In exchange, the author receives one copy of the issue as payment. We also retain the right to post the work on our web site after print publication and in digital format on our web and other e-publication venues. After publication, all rights (except those stated above) revert to the Author/Artist.
