Bright Hill Press, inc. publishes poetry, literary fiction and nonfiction; and visual arts with commentary.
Bright Hill has an open submissions period in February. The press also conducts two poetry manuscript competitions each year: a poetry chapbook ms. competition in the summer and a poetry full-length ms. competition in the winter. The poetry chapbook competition is judged in-house, and the full-length poetry book completion has final judge. The Chapbook winner receives publication and national distribution, $350, and 30 copies; the full-length poetry book winner receives publication and national distribution, $1,000, and 30 copies. Both books are submitted for review to at least 15 reviewers or magazines.
