Voices that are innovative, provocative, risky, and relevant, poetry that defies expectations of form and content.
We acquire manuscripts based on personal relationships and solicitations. We would like venture into contests and open reading periods, but need funding and infrastructure in place to accommodate that. Copyright policies: first North American serial right for poems that appear in our online series and our forthcoming journal. For books, we request only that reprinting publishers acknowledge Indolent and the book in which a poem appeared.
